Player letter no. 2

Welcome to Player Letter no. 2.
If you haven’t read Player Letter 1, it’s important that you do so here: Player Letter 1

Arrival

The map below shows driving directions, camps, parking, etc.
At the entry point to the area, marked “Arrival,” printed brochures with information will be available.
We will share a video of the arrival route before Krigslive.

IMPORTANT: All vehicles must have a sign clearly visible in the windshield with: [Name + Phone Number + Unit + Camp Side] before entering the area. Make it at home so it’s ready upon arrival. Leave the sign in the windshield throughout the event.

Drive slowly when entering the area. The gravel roads are dusty, and your tires might throw upstones that can hit people.

There are drop-off zones at each camp; Averland has two. At the drop-off zones, you may unload your vehicle. Once unloading is complete, you must move away your vehicle immediately. Many people need access, so place your gear where it causes minimal disruption for others and clear it quickly.

Krigslive Crew members at drop-off zones wear red caps. If you need help, look for a red hat and follow their instructions.
The map can be downloaded here: Off-Game Map

Parking

There is “parking-near” and “parking” available, both along the same road. Unfortunately, we cannot provide parking for disabled closer to the site.

IMPORTANT: Stopping and parking elsewhere is strictly forbidden, as this is a military area and fire lanes must remain clear. This also applies to the areas near The Shooting Range and The Farm House.

Wristbands

Wristbands/check-in will be available at the support point The Farm House during the following times: Wednesday: 3:00–4:00 PM & 8:00–9:00 PM. Thursday: 10:00–11:00 AM.

Wristbands must be worn throughout Krigslive. If your wristband breaks, bring it to HQ at The Farm House to get a replacement.

  • Red wristbands = Participants and crew under 18

  • Yellow wristbands = Participants and crew over 18

  • Gold wristbands = Staff and organizers

Fire and Gas Burners

Due to the large number of participants, stricter fire safety regulations apply.
We have updated the rules for fire pits, open flames, and gas burners. See: Praktisk info (in Danish, called “Ild”). Please reach out if you have questions regarding fire safty.

IMPORTANT: All fire pits must have a fire extinguisher.
IMPORTANT: Fire inspections will be conducted by officials during Krigslive.

Permission to Diggy diggy hole

All units are encouraged to bring shovels to level sleeping areas (as the terrain can be quite uneven) or to dig trenches in case of heavy rain. Trenches and holes must be filled and the area restored during pack-up.

Toilets and Showers

Sanitary facilities are available at The Shooting Range and The Farm House.
We have nice toilets and showers, but they are fragile. Last year, all toilets in one camp had to be shut down due to repeated flushing of wet wipes in the toilets.

IMPORTANT: It is strictly forbitten to flush anything but human waste and toilet paper in the toilets.

Our septic tanks have limited capacity and will need to be emptied multiple times. The less water we use, the fewer emptying cycles we need, and the less money we spend. It’s also better for the environment and creates shorter queues.

IMPORTANT: Take short showers and turn off the water when not in use.

Water

Water can be collected at The Shooting Range and The Farm House.
Units and participants are responsible for bringing enough water into the field. Remember, we fight for three hours at a time.
There will be a limited supply of backup water in the field.

Electricity

It is possible to charge phones and power banks at The Shooting Range and The Farm House. Charging is at your own risk.
Electricity is limited. Overloading the system will trip the circuit and affect essential services like toilets and showers.

IMPORTANT: Electric kettles and other high-consumption appliances are not allowed at Krigslive.

Cool Locker

There are refrigerated trailers at The Shooting Range and The Farm House.
Space is limited. Each unit is allocated 0.5 boxes per 10 participants. A box is defined as 40x80x40 cm.
Shelves will be labelled with unit names.

  • 5–10 players = 0.5 box

  • 10–20 players = 1 box

  • 20–30 players = 1.5 boxes

  • 30–40 players = 2 boxes

  • etc.

Waste Management

We sort waste into: bio (food), plastic, metal, glass, residual, and deposit.
Sort your waste in your own camp using transparent garbage bags or bio bags (bio bags can be collected by international players at HQ at The Farm House).
Containers are located at The Shooting Range and The Farm House.

IMPORTANT: Batteries, pressurized containers (e.g., gas canisters, hairspray), and other hazardous waste must be taken home and disposed of by participants.

Safety

We have updated our safety information. Everyone must have a basic understanding of safety at Krigslive, so please read it
First aid responders will be located at The Shooting Range.

Partnership with Epic Armoury

We are pleased to announce a partnership with Epic Armoury. It is a two-year agreement that covers Krigslive XX (2025) and Krigslive XXI (2026). The agreement will not affect participants at Krigslive XX (2025).

As part of the deal, Krigslive will receive new tents and equipment, already available this year. These will be owned by Bifrost and passed on to future organizers after 2026.
We look forward to sharing more details after Krigslive XX.

Roleplay with Euphoria-Inducing Substances

Some units have used roleplay involving hallucinogenic substances.
To enforce our off-game policy against real drugs, in-game representation of drugs resembling real ones (e.g., white powder) is not allowed.
If you wish to roleplay around substances, you can use liquorice root as a prop for “Weirdroot”, in Warhammer lore it is a morphine-like substance.

In-Game Map

We’ve designed a cool in-game map.
Each unit will receive 1 printed A4 copy. If you wish to print your own, you can download an A3 version here: In-game kort A3

Storyline

Act 3 of the conflict leading to Krigslive XX can be read here: Konflikten (In Danish)

Gate Roleplay & Visiting Enemy Camps

We are at war, not on exercise! This year, we want to reinforce the feeling that the enemy camp is not somewhere you just casually walk into. We’ve built walls and gates at each camp. The only in- game entry and exit point is the gate. Entering the enemy camp off-game is only permitted for off- game matters.

Expect to be on gate duty. Play along and make it fun. It’s okay to be tricked by disguises, fake letters, or bribes. We also ask that you don’t visit enemy camps just to hang out. Instead, spend time with your neighbours in your own camp and get to know the better.

More about gate duty and infiltration: Game and Setting Document, page 13: Setting (the document is only in Danish)

Afterparty

The afterparty will be held at The Shooting Range.
It starts at 20:30–22:00 with a beerpong tournament. Challenge another unit, bring your own table, cups, balls, and drinks. From 22:00, there will be dance floor. The party ends at 02:00.

No drinks will be sold, bring your own. If possible, also bring your own tables, benches, and chairs. If it rains, covered space is limited.

Theft and Insurance

IMPORTANT: The only things that may be stolen in-game are in-game currency in paper and sacred relics from the two staffs.

Although we rent the event area, we can’t guarantee that civilians won’t pass through.
Do not leave valuables in cars or electronics charging unattended.
All belongings are your own responsibility, and any damage or loss must be covered by your own insurance.

Slagtræf Cardgame

Anyone who purchased Slagtræf decks can pick them up from Valentin in the Sorten Sol camp, Averland army. It’s also possible to collet your purchase Thursday at 11:50 AM in front of the Ostland camp before the organizer briefing.
